“The Slow Small Donkey”
The Slow Small Donkey chronicles the journey of Donkey, an undervalued member of a small mountain town. Bullied by others for his size, Donkey is overcome by his woes and starts to bray, only to discover a great musical talent. What Donkey lacks in stature, he makes up for in sound! The Slow Small Donkey offers readers of all ages the chance to imagine new, hidden talents within themselves and others. This 22-page rhyming tale represents the first picture book I wrote and illustrated.
“The Fox Song”
A beloved poem and campfire tune, The Fox Went Out On a Chilly Night was one of the first songs I learned on the guitar. I have many great memories of playing it with friends and trying to sing it as fast as we could. The tune eventually made its way to the page, and this 15-page illustrated book was born. Available for print by request.
“Alphabet Book” - a work in progress
I grew up inhabiting the worlds of the alphabet masters, Mike Wilkes and Graeme Base. As a highly visual reader, the ability to search for and find illustrated objects, animals, and characters representing different letters deeply affected me. I have always wanted to make my own version. This book will likely become available in late 2022.
